I’ve been out of the drum corps loop for quite some time, but a note popped up on my Facebook page about the revamped judging sheets for the upcoming DCI season and I thought it was interesting. Seems as though more and more emphasis is being put on general effect, not to mention more focus on the visual side of things but that’s no big surprise as it’s been heading that way literally for decades (thanks Garfield 84! lol), in any case I thought it was interesting so I figured I’d bring it up over here on Upbeat Rhythms for any of you old drum corps dogs out there who might be interested.
